Faus to Expand Manufacturing in USA

Calhoun, GA - Faus Group, Inc. ("Faus") ... During the final days of 2008 and beginning in 2009, Faus Inc. has taken new measures to reinforce its position in the US Market by investing 40 million dollars at the manufacturing plant in Calhoun, GA.

"Faus will soon commence the installation of its fourth press and second milling line which will give Faus the capacity to produce 100 million square feet per year of high-end laminate flooring," states Mr. Gonzalo Frey, CEO of Faus Inc. Faus molding production is scheduled to begin by Fall 2009.

Faus' motivation behind this expansion is to achieve manufacturing proficiency and knowledge from Europe to Calhoun, GA and increasing its manufacturing capacity. The increased production volumes will provide the consumer with more cost-effective, high-end laminate flooring.

The company began US operations in July 2006 after purchasing a 78-acre, 400,000 square feet facility in Calhoun, Georgia.
